GOAN VEGETARIAN RECIPE (Goan Beans Vegetable Stir Fry)



HEALTHY VEGETABLE STIR FRY (GOAN STYLE)

Valaan bhaji or Long Yard Beans is steamed with kokum, coconut & onion. A quick vegetable dish that is prepared by steaming & stir frying till you achieve that required bite & texture. A balance of crunchy & mushy needs to be acquired in this dish. Do not overcook & do not undercook…..u know what I mean 😉

Ingredients:
A bunch of Long Yard Beans/Valaan Bhaji
One cup of onions finely chopped
6 to 7 long slit green chillies
Half a cup of freshly grated coconut
10/12 kokum peels
A tablespoon of coconut oil
Salt to taste
