Learn how to make Thandai at home with chef Seema only on Swaad Anusaar

On the special occassion of Holi, go ahead and make Holi special Thandai. Its easy to make and and a perfect drink to celebrate the festival of colors. Watch and learn only on Swaad Anusaar

– 11/2 lt milk
– 11/2 cup of sugar
– Saffron
– 20-25 Almond
– Cashewnuts
– 1/4th cup of Pista
– 1/4th cup of Melon Seeds
– Fennel seeds
– 3tbsp Poppy Seeds ( Khas Khas )
– 1tbsp Cardamom & Cinnamon
– milk


– Boil milk and add sugar to it.

– Add saffron to it and mix well

– Grind together Almond, Cashewnuts, Pista, Melon Seeds, Fennel seeds, Poppy Seeds (Khas Khas),Cardamom & Cinnamon and Milk

– Mix the mixture with kesar milk

– Turn on the flame and boil the mixture then turn off the flame and add some Cinnamon and Rose water

– Let it cool for 10 minutes and add some ice to the glass. Pour the Thandai & the thandai is ready to be served!

– Garnish the Thandai with Pista, Elaichi powder & Kesar!
