How to make Chingri Macher Paturi
Chingrir Paturi is a delectable and authentic Bengali dish where the prawns steeped in flavorful spices, wrapped in fresh banana leaves and steam or cooked in a pan. Easy and quick to make for lunch or dinner. It is popular in Bangladesh and West Bengal.


Prawns (Chingri) – 7 to 8 medium size
Yellow mustard seeds – 1 tsp (Soaked in Water)
Black mustard seeds – 1 tsp (Soaked in Water)
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp (Soaked in Water)
Coconut – 1 tbsp (Bland)
Green chillies – 4 pieces
Mustard oil – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Banana leaves cut into large rectangular pieces
