Ingredients:
Chicken: 2 quarters and 2 breasts, skin on/bone-in
2 crushed garlic cloves
Oil, kosher salt, freshly cracked black pepper
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 tb unsalted butter
1 tb unbleached flour

I tweaked this a little, i used boneless chicken thighs and rubbed the garlic in, along with some ginger and some orange juice to marinate. Grilled it off in a pan, didn't use onions, but i made the sauce using a cup of orange juice and some chicken stock granules, the later cooked the chicken in the sauce over low heat for about ten minutes. It tasted great. If you are wondering, i'm a uni student so I can't store or cook a whole chicken at once, and I can't make chicken stock as I can't store it later. Just as an Asian, I also feel ginger and garlic goes together and I was reminded of Chinese orange chicken, so I used orange juice 🙂 The leftovers made an awesome sandwich too!
