  • The only recipe that didn't include refined sugar was the last one! Refined sugar is the most unhealthy thing you can eat and the SINGLE reason for the overweight epidemic plaguing western society. Natural, unrefined, unmodified sugars are the only sugars you're supposed to eat, like non-heated fruit, berries, real honey, real maple syrup and so on – but obviously in moderation! Fruit juice is a scam in most cases, because they have heated the juice (pasteurizing), destroying anything healthy about it, and what remains is the sugar. The end product actually becomes worse for your health than soda! Heating fruit destroys the vitamins, probiotics and also the enzymes that help your liver break down the fruit sugars (fructose), which are harder for the liver to break down. Lots of fructose without their enzymes is going to overload the liver, which is a good recipe for ruining your liver, and thus your entire body. That's how important the liver is!
    AVOID HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! This is what they put in almost every sugary beverage in America nowadays.
    Sugar and protein in combination IS VERY HARD ON YOUR LIVER – especially if you cook protein together with sugar! Stop putting sugar on the bacon! High quality bacon is tasty enough as it is!

    Saturated fat is NOT unhealthy! Butter made from high quality milk is healthy! Tallow fat made from high quality beef is healthy! What ruins your health is INFLAMMATION caused by low quality products, both animal and vegetable based. Low quality oils are more oxidized, have a lower amount of anti-oxidants and contain contaminants. There is a LOT of low quality olive oil on the market sold as "extra virgin" even though they're actually not (that's called false marketing). The so called "extra virgin" olive oils are in some cases so bad that they aren't suitable for human consumption, but only suitable as lamp oil – hence the designation "lampante" in independent, unbiased quality tests. True extra virgin olive oil can be hard to find, but is honestly the only acceptable vegetable oil you should use in cooking, because olive oil, which is mostly mono-unsaturated fat, is much more oxidation resistant and is also significantly more stable (resistant to breakdown due to heat) than poly-unsaturated fat which most vegetable oils consist of (Hint: Saturated fat is the most stable and oxidation resistant). And if it is true extra virgin it is also very rich in anti-oxidants. This means true extra virgin olive oil causes SIGNIFICANTLY LESS INFLAMMATION in your body than all other oils – even if you heat it past it's smoke point!

    Minimize all refined, processed and inflammation-triggering products, and maximize anti-oxidants, enzymes, probiotics, vitamins, and generally just high quality products overall, whether it's animal products or vegetables. And obviously vegetables are by far the most important foods you can eat.
