Beef Puff Pastries (Appetizer Recipe)
Green Bell Pepper
Red Bell Pepper
Red Chilli Powder
Boil beef with garlic and ginger paste. Drain and let dry.
Shred beef using blender or coffee grinder.
Finely chop red and green peppers, onions, carrots, and cilantro.
In pan, add oil, chopped vegetables, garlic and ginger paste,
lemon juice, salt, pepper, tumeric powder, garam masala, chilli
powder and green chutney. Saute, stirring frequently.
Slowly add shredded beef, mixing all ingredients well. Let cool.
Thaw, cut, and roll pastry puff sheets. Add beef mix and roll. Use water to
wipe edges closed. Place open edge down on greased or non-stick pan.
Make egg wash with egg whites and little water. Baste tops of pastries.
Bake at 400*F for 17-20 minutes (until tops are lightly golden brown).
