Vegan Okonomiyaki Recipe – Japanese Cooking Series

My homemade vegan mayo recipe:

This is one of my favourite Japanese recipes. It’s so fun to make, and of course to eat 🙂 Goes wonderful with beer and good company!

This recipe makes 2 big Okonomiyaki = 2 servings.

✦ Ingredients:
200 gr firm tofu
4 vegan hot dogs
1/2 medium-size cabbage
Piece of leek
2-3 spring onions
1 sheet of Nori seaweed
4 tbs soy sauce
1 tsp BBQ sauce
4 tbs ketchup
2 cups Tempura flour
2 cups water
1/2 tsp Kelp powder
2 tbs coconut oil
Vegan mayo (
Gari (pickled ginger)

✔ For best results – always use a good non-stick pan when making this recipe.
