Molten chocolate cake | mulled wine citrus salad | Dessert Recipe for Christmas

The sourness of the citric fruit goes extremely well with the bittersweetness of chocolate. This delicious dessert is best enjoyed with Tawny Port. The alcohol in the wine complements the abundance of chocolate, it also contributes spice, which harmonizes wonderfully with the mulled wine spice.

Ingredients (6 servings):
3½ oz dark chocolate
6 oranges
2 grapefruits
2 limes
1 lemon
2 tbsp starch
2 tbsp water
¾ cup sugar (divided)
½ vanilla bean
1 tbsp mulled wine spice
3 tbsp honey
¾ stick butter
3 eggs
⅓ cup flour
butter for greasing
confectioner’s sugar for dusting
