Chicken Chow Mein Stir Fry (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe)

Welcome to Xiao’s Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at a early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.

100g Egg Noodles
100g Chicken Breasts
1 Green Pepper
3 Cloves Garlic
5g Ginger
1 small Onion
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 Tsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Cooking Wine
50ml Chicken Stock
Salt To Taste

1. Finely chop the garlic and ginger
2. Thinly slice the pepper and onion
3. Thinly slice the chicken breasts
4. Boil 800ml of water in saucepan
5. Place noodles into the saucepan and boil for 3 minutes, remove and drain
6. Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in the wok
7. Add garlic, ginger and onion, fry for a few seconds
8. Add chicken and cooking wine, stir fry for 5 minutes
9. Add the pepper, stir fry for a minute
10. Add the noodles, soy sauce and stock, stir fry for 2 minutes
11. Add salt and sesame oil and stir
12. Transfer onto a dish and serve
