Learn how to make super easy Bengali style Tok Jhal Rui .
This is an Indian fish recipe and it is prepared in typical Bengali method. In the eastern region of India, generally people used to fry the fish slightly and then it is cooked with spices and other ingredients. Here in this recipe Some other ingredients or spices are also used to enrich the overall taste. This recipe is good combination with any kind of steamed rice & Jeera Rice .

Ingredients :-

Rui fish – 3 pieces (I am using rohu fish here)
Salt to taste
Lemon juice – 1 tsp

(for geavy) Ingredients

Mustard oil – 3 tbsp
Tok doi/curd – 3 tbsp
Green chilies – 2 green (cut in half)
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Onion – 1 big size
Tomato – 1 medium size
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Garlic chopped – 1 tbsp
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon stick – 1 piece
Green cardamom – 2 pieces
Javitri (mace) – 1 pinch
